PC Build - 40K INR

Hey guys,

I hope all of you are doing well. As the name suggests, I started this series to create pc build options for users who do not want to spend a whole lot on pc building but just want enough horsepower so as to run both modern and old Triple-A gaming titles at respectable frame rates as well as some minor editing stuff also. As you all know about the current GPU and RAM pricing, therefore I will try my best to get to your price sweet spot.

Here is the first build :-

• CPU

Kabylake Pentium G4560 

Pentium G4560 is a Dual core Cpu equipped with hyper-threading i.e, 2 cores and 4 threads. Hyperthreading gives it a 50% improvement over the rest of dual core processors. Thus making it at par with core i3-6100, in raw performance.

Asus GT 1030

GT 1030

GT 1030 comes equipped with low profile 2GB GDDR5 memory. It's a good budget end graphics card and is capable of handling most of modern esports titles at respectable fps on 1080p and more better on 720p resolutions at normal presets.

• RAM 

1 x Crucial 8gb Ddr4 ram

As the name suggests it is a value oriented option when it comes to good performance. While 8GB does a better job, 4GB does a fair job too. But it is always recommended to bump up the ram to at least 8GB to prevent the performance loss in the long run.

• Motherboard

MSI H110-M

This a fairly optimized motherboard with 2 ram slots and 3 PCIEx slots ( two x1 and one x16). Graphics card are plugged in PCIEx x16 slot and other add-on cards (like USB 3.0 card or gigabit Ethernet card). There are two system fan connectors other than CPU fan but more fans can be added by using a single 4-pin to multiple fan connectors.

The motherboard is usually for 6th Gen processors but with current F20 bios it is compatible with 7th Gen processors (upto core i7) also. Therefore G4560 being a 7th gen Pentium requires the motherboard to be flashed with F20 bios. Hence do remember to buy the already upgraded motherboard.
One more thing to be noted is that the motherboard does not support  any type of overclocking (CPU or XMP), so buying unlocked processors is total waste of money with this board.

• Storage

Seagate 1TB Firecuda (Solid State Hybrid)

As you know , SSD currently is considered to be a must have part so as to make system fast and crisp but SSDs are quite expensive when it comes to bigger capacities. Therefore for a better price to value, it is better to go with SSHD which are moderately fast than standard HDD but not as an SSD. This was the reason I chose Seagate Barracuda over the popular WD Blue .

• PSU

Corsair 450w - Non modular power supply

The whole system requires 288w power and the Recommended PSU wattage is 400w. Therefore plenty of power with no compromises. As the graphics is a low profile one, therefore it will not require any additional power and will consume all the necessary power (maximum 34w) directly from the graphics card slot. The psu has quite enough power to hold a GTX 1050 Ti with the included 6-pin (2+4 pin) connector and also the cpu can be swapped with a core i5-7400 or i3-7100 initially or in future. Therefore upgrades can be done easily.

• Cabinet 

Corsair Spec-04.

Spec-04 is a fairly priced cabinet with good airflow and comes pre-equipped with two fans (one intake RGB fan and one non-RGB exhaust fan). There is a lot of space under the second non window panel for cable management also. The edges are round for protection against cuts while installing parts and through the window panel you can always show of your cleanliness and also can constantly check any dust for proper performance of the system.   

But it must be noted that you can yourself choose any case of your own choice if you find any other case with more value for price.

• Monitor

Dell E2016HV 20-inch LED Monitor

The monitor comes with the custom resolution of 1600 x 900. The monitor is also a great value for money. The monitor provides enough colour accuracy while playing games or watching movies with ample brightness.
