Qualcomm Snapdragon 845

Snapdragon has finally unveiled its new flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (codenamed NAPALI V2.0) to the world. The new processor packs ample amount of power to retaliate the iPhone 8 with A11 bionic. According to the latest leaks the s9+ supposedly with SD 845 has shown  massive 265857 score smashing the 217385 score of the A11 Bionic.Nubia NX60J has even surpassed the Galaxy S9+ with 271257 score as per the leaked specs. But only the time will tell as the official launch date given by the Samsung is 25th February. But the score have created a huge buzz in the market with regards to the power and efficiency of Snapdragon 845. First of all the SD 845 comes with 8 x QC 385 Kryo cores clocked at 2.8GHz giving it upper hand over its predecessor SD 835 which included 8 x QC 280 Kryo cores clocked at 2.45GHz.

Which supports a single 32mp or dual 16mp camera setup. Alongside that it can also capture at 60 pics/sec, pretty cool. Not only that but video capture 4k @60fps is also possible. 

Adreno 630 provides an ample graphical horsepower to the system. The new H.265 HEVC is also supported in addition to the H.264 MPEG-AVC which provides much clear and sharper image while playing high quality videos. Also like its predecessor the SD 835 it can easily handle any game you throw at it with much better visuals along side with the life like XR (x-Reality or Extended reality) Experience which enhances its VR - AR capabilities. 

The LTE cat18 X20 modem provides a downlink speed of whopping 1200Mbps with uplink (LTE cat13) speed of 150Mbps giving it no backlogging while connecting to the Internet . It also comes with the 802 bgn/ac/ad featuring WiFi speeds over 1 Gbps. Bluetooth 5.0 allows you to connect to two devices simualtaneously at the same time with more secure connections than ever before. 

SD 845 also includes a standalone isolated sub-system called the 'Secure Processing Unit' which makes it more secure than its predecessor SD835 which had combined security system. 

The new quick charge 4+ is one of the major feature of SD845 with 50% in just 15 mins. Also the battery optimization in SD 845 is enhanced over the previous flagship SD 835 and as per the manufacturer. 

While the company is boasting its current flagship in tech world, there is however another chip supposedly SD 855 that is under process which is said to be based on 7nm process and is codenamed HANA V1.0.
